Chief Information and Data Officer (CIDO)
The CIDO is a senior executive responsible for shaping and executing enterprise-wide technology and data strategies. This role ensures secure, scalable IT systems and a robust data ecosystem that drives innovation, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making, leading efforts in data governance, analytics, and the adoption of advanced technologies like Machine Learning and AI to unlock new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership:
Define and implement IT and data strategies aligned with business objectives, enabling digital transformation and innovation.
• Data Governance & Analytics:
Establish enterprise data governance, architecture, and quality standards; lead advanced analytics and AI/ML adoption to unlock insights and optimize processes.
• Technology &
Infrastructure: Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
• Product Operating Model:
Drive a product-centric approach within IT and Data, fostering continuous delivery and customer-focused solutions.
• Innovation & Emerging Tech:
Identify and integrate new technologies to enhance data management, automation, and competitive advantage.
• Leadership &
Collaboration:
Build and mentor high-performing teams; partner with senior leaders to deliver technology solutions that create measurable business value.
Qualifications
• 15+ years in IT and data leadership roles, including experience with product operating models and agile methodologies.
• Expertise in enterprise data strategy, governance, analytics platforms, and AI/ML implementation.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing, enterprise architecture, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Advanced degree preferred.
