YouTube Channel Manager

Job Description

Audiochuck is seeking a You Tube Channel Manager to drive the growth of our You Tube presence across flagship brands, including Crime Junkie, and beyond. In this high-impact role, you will help to define and execute our You Tube strategy, oversee channel operations, and collaborate with leadership to ensure You Tube is a key growth lever for Audiochuck.

You will lead conversations across cross-functional teams, manage external partners, and deliver on ambitious subscriber, viewer, and monetization goals. This role requires a seasoned strategist with deep expertise in You Tube growth, analytics, and monetization, as well as the ability to influence content strategy and build scalable systems that expand our audience reach.

• Drive growth through consistent application of best practices, data-driven testing, and emerging trends with a focus on increasing subscribers, views, and engagement across channels.
• Manage A/B tests to help improve CTR, watch time, and average view duration, and use data-informed insights to provide recommendations to scale KPIs across all You Tube channels.
• Translate audience insights and competitive trends into long-term growth initiatives. Develop robust reporting frameworks and predictive models to guide content and monetization decisions.
• Partner with leadership to evolve the You Tube growth strategy across all audiochuck brands. Set ambitious KPIs for subscriber growth, retention, and monetization.
• Collaborate with Production and Social to identify high-performing audio and video moments that can be repackaged into shorts, reels, or visual stories to extend content lifespan and drive viewership.

• 3+ years of hands-on You Tube channel management or equivalent experience (Experience in podcasting or entertainment is preferred)
• 5+ years in digital media, audience development, content strategy, or content marketing.
• Proven track record of supporting the growth of You Tube channels and delivering through creative and analytical strategies
• Deep understanding of You Tube’s algorithm, monetization options, and audience behavior
• Familiarity with design tools to create and optimize thumbnails
• Expertise in You Tube Studio, Google Analytics, A/B testing tools, and other analytics tools
• Ability to execute tasks across cross-functional initiatives and communicate performance insights

The base salary for this role is between $80,000 and $100,000. This is a full-time, in-person position located in Indianapolis, Indiana or New York, NY.
