Job Title: Sr. Data Analyst
Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid)

Position OverviewThe ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, deep experience with T‑SQL, and a passion for data governance and quality improvement in healthcare or public health environments.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and monitor data quality across multiple internal and external data sources.
- Design, develop, and execute data validation, cleansing, and transformation routines using SQL/T‑SQL and related tools.
- Identify data quality issues, anomalies, and inconsistencies; document findings and lead resolution efforts.
- Collaborate with data owners, data stewards, and technical teams to define and enforce data quality rules, standards, and best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance data quality dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to monitor system accuracy and provider data compliance.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend process, system, or workflow improvements to prevent recurring data issues.
- Support data governance initiatives by contributing to metadata documentation, data lineage, and data standards.
- Partner with business and program stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure datasets meet operational and reporting needs.
- Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for leadership that communicate trends, patterns, risks, and insights derived from data analysis.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support data quality and public health objectives.
- Experience in data quality, data analysis, or data governance role – Required (Minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in SQL/T‑SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets – Required.
- Experience working in cloud‑based analytics environments (e.g., ACE, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) – Required.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills – Required.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills – Required.
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) – Preferred.
- Knowledge of IIS data exchange standards (VXU, ACK, QBP) – Required.
- Experience with data quality frameworks and record‑matching techniques – Required.
- Exposure to public health data systems or clinical data exchange – Required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field – Required.
