SAP ABAP Lead

Overview

Join Tata Consultancy Services as a SAP ABAP Lead. This role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing custom applications in the S/4

HANA environment using ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, Fiori/UI5, and other modern technologies.

• Write technical specifications, code, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs for reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements.
• Optimize ABAP code for performance, especially in HANA.
• Implement S/4
  
  HANA-specific technologies such as ABAP for HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
• Design and develop interfaces and integrations with other SAP and non‑SAP systems (IDOC, BAPI, API).
• Collaborate with functional teams, conduct code reviews, and provide technical support and bug fixes.
• Maintain and support existing applications, create test plans and scripts.

• Programming experience in ABAP, ABAP‑OO, SAPUI5, SQL and Native SQL.
• Strong ABAP programming skills for ECC and S/4 HANA.
• Experience with ABAP for HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData.
• Knowledge of core SAP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, PP) and their integration.
• Experience in S/4
  
  HANA implementation; full‑cycle implementation a plus.
• Experience with integration tools such as SAP PI/PO or CPI is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 integration with ABAP.
• Techno‑functional skills with SAP Master Data, debugging, deep knowledge of SAP OTC, and related modules such as P2P, Logistics, and FI.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $130,000 per year.
