Cisco ISE Network Engineer

Overview

Infosys is seeking a Cisco ISE Network Engineer
. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.

  , or Richardson, TX
  , or Houston, TX
  , or Providence, RI
  , or Hartford, CT
  , or be willing to relocate to these areas Infosys HUB locations. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Responsible for providing Technical and Networking support with Cisco ISE and Cisco Wireless Controllers and Switches.
• Involves diagnosing hardware and software issues on network components, performing troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades and ensuring devices meet quality standards.
• Play a critical role in delivering reliable solutions and maintaining customer satisfaction in a fast-paced service environment.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco ISE for network access control, including guest access portals, 802.1X authentication, and device profiling.
• Design and implement secure guest access solutions using Cisco ISE, ensuring seamless and secure connectivity for visitors.
• Familiarity with Cisco Wireless controllers/Switches and integration with Cisco ISE.
• Provide excellent customer service to the end users by resolving their issues end to end.
• Maintain Compliance:
  Comply with the ITIL process and meet the SLA requirements.
• Design and customize Cisco ISE guest access portals, including layout, branding, and functionality enhancements.

• Understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Experienced with guest access solutions and 802.1X authentication.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE Guest access and BYOD solutions.
• Troubleshooting skills and familiarity with logs, debugs and packet captures.
• Work closely with ISE and Customer Teams, and stakeholders to align portal customization requirements with organizational goals.
• Understanding of security principles and practices.
• Excellent Communications and client interaction skills along with exceptional written and verbal skills as well as technical documentation.
• Extraordinary Planning, Project Management, Coordination, and Analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources.
• Exceptional Organizational Skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude.
• Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
