Overview Of The Role

The Salesforce Event Technology team transforms the company’s portfolio of customer‑facing events. As the Sr. Manager, Event Technology Solutions you will lead the deployment, configuration and continuous improvement of event technology solutions across Salesforce’s Strategic Events and global field marketing programs. You partner with Product Managers, Event leads, vendor partners and cross‑functional teams to pilot, scale and maintain solutions that deliver exceptional attendee and stakeholder experiences.

• Prioritize solution enhancements in partnership with the Event Technology Product team and keep solution documentation, templates and deployment guides current and scalable.
• Serve as subject matter expert for assigned solutions, enable event leads, global field teams and partner agencies on functionality and requirements, and translate complex configurations into clear, actionable instructions.
• Configure solution templates to match global event needs, weigh risks of configuration changes when the experience is live, and ensure downstream systems receive complete and accurate information.
• Develop and manage comprehensive testing plans, coordinate stakeholder sign‑off prior to launch, monitor risks, identify dependencies and resolve issues proactively across integrated solutions.
• Lead onsite and pre‑event issue triage, coordinate with vendor partners to resolve problems quickly, and measure solution performance using post‑event metrics and stakeholder feedback.
• Recommend enhancements that improve reliability, usability and operational efficiency and work with the Event Technology Administrator to make platform‑wide improvements.
• Provide guidance and direction to junior team members, contribute to a culture of operational excellence, documentation quality and continuous learning.

• Deep experience with enterprise event technology platforms;
  Rain Focus strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage configuration, testing and deployment for medium to large‑scale event programs.
• Strong cross‑functional communication skills and ability to simplify technical concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to rapid changes in event environments.
• Experience collaborating with external vendors and technical teams.
• Willingness to travel onsite to event locations (up to 25%).
