Role:
Sr. Business/Quality Analyst
Location:
2 N. Meridian St. Indianapolis IN, 46204 | Locals Only | In-person Interview
This position would be a liaison between program area and technical support groups, understanding and documenting the requirements or issues and creating test scenarios, performing testing, and reporting test results.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and document requirements for immunization individual user agreements automation.
- Write detailed test scripts and test upcoming patches, identify issues and provide testing results to make a decision to go ahead with the patch.
- Track all tickets and follow up with a vendor and IT team, ensuring tickets are resolved timely.
- Work with the program team and help test various new modules added to CHIRP such as Vaccines transfers, Returns, and VOMS.
- Identify and address data quality issues (duplicate patients, bad merges, duplicate facilities, invalid vaccines, etc.) with the IT and Immunization team.
- Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, devise new technical business system solutions, and translate into proper system requirement specifications.
- Work with the IT team to address electronic data transmission issues; use PHC-Hub and IQ to create reports notifying providers and EMR vendors of data errors.
- Follow up with IT and program teams to resolve issues and improve data reporting timeliness, accuracy and completeness.
- Facilitate delivery of technical business solutions to program area or users.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- More than eight (8) years of full‑time professional experience in an Information Technology environment.
- At least four (4) years of experience as a Business and Quality Analyst in information technology, using project tools and best practices.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze and map business processes to identify improvement areas.
- Experience developing and presenting business cases for proposed solutions.
- Experience developing and implementing quality assurance strategies and test plans.
- Strong testing skills: conducting thorough testing of software applications to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Proven track record of identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and capacity to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry and health informatics.
- Ability to plan, schedule, and manage QA projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (developers, product managers, customer support, etc.).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with IT experience.
