OverviewIndiana University Health is one of Indiana’s largest employers, committed to transforming healthcare through quality, innovation, and education. This role reports to the Financial Profitability Analytics team of Enterprise Analytics and involves some onsite work in Indianapolis.
Responsibilities- Provides analysis, reporting, and data discovery services for end‑users under limited supervision.
- Supports financial services via ad‑hoc and ongoing analytics related to service line and procedural profitability, patient volume, and statistical analysis.
- Incorporates end‑user requests to develop enterprise reporting/dashboard solutions.
- Collaborates with end‑users to generate and prepare solutions that support business and clinical objectives.
- Administers access and maintains data warehouse security to ensure reliability and security of data.
- Trains end‑users on reporting tools.
- Solves complex analytical problems.
- Leads project steps within a broader project or manages ongoing activities or objectives.
- Works directly with business area leadership to develop actionable insights that drive performance improvement.
- Provides breakthrough thinking on analytical needs and solutions.
- Acts as a resource/mentor for colleagues with less experience.
- Experience with financial statements and/or Oracle is preferred.
- Experience building statistical models is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years of related experience required.
- Strong knowledge of SQL programming.
