Primary

Purpose:

responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise monitoring solutions using the Science Logic SL1 platform

• Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise monitoring solutions using the Science Logic SL1 platform across network, compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Develop and optimize monitoring policies, event correlation, alerts, dashboards, reports, and automation workflows to improve operational visibility and reduce incident response time.
• Integrate Science Logic SL1 with ITSM tools such as Service Now and support API-based data collection using protocols and technologies including SNMP, WMI, SSH, Python, Bash, and Power Shell.
• Troubleshoot monitoring issues, provide 24x7 rotational operational support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Expertise in:
  Infrastructure monitoring (network, compute, storage)

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Deep expertise in infrastructure monitoring, automation, event correlation, and integration with ITSM tools
• Strong hands‑on experience with Science Logic SL1 platform
• Service Now / ITSM tools integration VMware / Hyper‑V
• Cloud monitoring (Azure Monitor, AWS Cloud Watch – preferred)
• Scripting:
  Python, Bash, Power Shell
• Databases:
  MySQL / PostgreSQL (basic knowledge)
• Familiarity with Dev Ops tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines)
• Expertise in: SNMP, WMI, SSH, API‑based data collection
