Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney : Indianapolis, Raleigh, Denver, Detroit

Hall, Render, Killian, Heath & Lyman is the nation’s largest law firm focused on matters specific to health care organizations. Hall Render is seeking a highly qualified Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney to join our dynamic Health Transactions Practice Group in the Indianapolis, IN;
Raleigh, NC;
Denver, CO; or Troy, MI office. In this role you will work closely with some of the largest and most innovative organizations in the health care industry. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor on complex deals, regulatory matters and strategic initiatives.

• Trusted, Strategic Advisor: Provide sophisticated legal counsel to some of the nation’s largest health systems, hospitals, physician groups, health care management organizations, private equity-backed health care funds, academic medical centers, behavioral health providers and other health care providers.
• Dive into Complex Transactions: Advise clients through high-stakes transactions, including mergers, asset transactions, joint ventures, private equity transactions and affiliation arrangements. You’ll manage the due diligence processes and transactions timelines while ensuring business and legal alignment.
• Client Centric Approach:
  Leverage a deep understanding of client operations to craft pragmatic, business-focused legal strategies that support long-term success.

• A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license in good standing, or ability to become licensed in Indiana, North Carolina or Michigan within one year (additional state bar admissions are a plus).
• At least 5-10 years of transactions experience, preferably in the health care sector.
• Demonstrated ability to lead due diligence, manage timelines and guide clients through all phases of transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with experience handling complex contracts and documents.
• Experience advising on regulatory compliance, including Stark, Anti-Kickback and antitrust considerations.
• Ability to collaborate with attorneys across the Firm to provide seamless client services.
