Banks and Brower is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with at least one (1) year of experience practicing immigration law. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants hands-on experience, mentorship, and meaningful work serving immigrant communities.

• Family-based immigration (Family-based petitions, Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, and Waivers)
• Naturalization and other benefits before USCIS
• Client counseling, case strategy, and court appearances
• It is possible for cross-practice areas as well if desired (criminal, family, personal injury)

• Manage a caseload of immigration matters from intake through resolution
• Represent clients before Immigration Courts, USCIS offices, and other agencies
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and applications
• Conduct client interviews and prepare clients for hearings and interviews
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
• Maintain timely and accurate case documentation

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar license in any U.S. jurisdiction (Indiana preferred or eligibility to waive in)
• At least 1 year of experience practicing immigration law
• Experience with removal defense and family-based cases preferred
• Familiarity with humanitarian forms of relief strongly preferred
• Strong oral, legal research, and writing skills
• Excellent communication and client advocacy skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment as part of a growing team
• Spanish fluency strongly preferred
• Interest in helping build and shape a growing immigration practice
