Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role offers the opportunity to work with seasoned attorneys in a collaborative environment, focusing on diverse practice areas such as litigation, insurance defense, and civil rights law. The position supports flexible work arrangements and requires periodic travel within the state.

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct thorough legal research.
• Develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
• Manage the disposition of assigned cases efficiently.
• Assist in trial preparation and presentation of evidence.

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in insurance defense or related field.
• Ability to manage own caseload independently.
• Strong litigation experience required.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree with J.D.
• Admission to the Indiana State Bar required.

• Bar admission in Indiana; additional licenses in MI, KY, or IL are a plus.

• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
