Complex Litigation Attorney

A well-established and highly respected law firm in downtown Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in managing a diverse caseload and working closely with clients on high-stakes matters in both state and federal court. The firm’s practice is known for its collaborative culture, quality of work, and deep roots in the Indianapolis legal community.

• Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Develop legal strategies and provide effective, results-oriented representation for clients.
• Manage client relationships with professionalism and responsiveness.
• Contribute to business development by expanding existing client relationships and building a personal practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases and provide mentorship to junior attorneys when needed.

• 8–12 years of litigation experience, ideally with a focus on defense work.
• Substantial courtroom experience in Indiana state and/or federal courts.
• Strong knowledge of Indiana Trial Rules, local rules, and court procedures.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and efficiently.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Indiana Bar in good standing.
