Sr. Level Litigation Associate

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, a leading national law firm, seeks an Sr. Attorney to join our Defense Litigation Practice Group in Indiana.

Remote candidates qualifying to reside in Indiana or within commutable distance are welcome. This high-visibility opportunity offers meaningful responsibility from day one, supported by professional growth, training, mentorship, and clear advancement pathways.

You will manage a diverse and challenging caseload while collaborating with a high-performing team.

• Active admission to the Indiana bar in good standing at the time of application is required.
• Seven or more years of defense litigation experience that may include general liability matters (product liability, construction defect, premises liability, vehicle liability), Dram Shop liability, and professional liability matters (medical malpractice, legal malpractice, errors and omissions).
• Demonstrated experience managing a rigorous caseload independently, with the ability to handle multiple matters efficiently while maintaining high-quality work.
• Proven experience drafting complex motions, opinions, and pleadings.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with sound judgment and client‑service orientation.
