Associate Attorney

CLEVELAND LEHNER CASSIDY is seeking a motivated and compassionate Associate Attorney to join our litigation practice, with a focus on plaintiff-side employment law.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful client contact, hands-on litigation experience, and the opportunity to advocate for individuals facing workplace discrimination.

• Represent plaintiffs in employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, breach of contract, and other employment-related claims.
• Conduct client interviews and consultations and develop case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, demand letters, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, contracts, and case law.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, jury trials, and other court proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties.
• Manage an assigned caseload from intake through resolution.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide high-quality, client-centered representation.

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Indiana Bar and in good standing.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Strong commitment to representing individuals and protecting clients' rights.
• Prior litigation and/or employment-law experience preferred.
