If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for conducting or assisting with conducting investigations.

Typical work assignments will include:
Working with assigned attorneys to determine applicable administrative statutory and regulatory law and identifying possible violations or causes of action;
Conducting extensive searches of files, records, and regulatory processes to find or obtain appropriate evidence for prosecution;
Compiling documents and physical evidence, and creating charts, graphs, videotapes, and other audio-visual materials for use in motions and at trial;
Independently handle cases as a lead investigator, which are characterized by obscure leads, few visible records, uncooperative witnesses, and conflicting evidence;
Examining books, ledgers, payrolls, cost reports, billing transactions, events, or allegations under investigation;
Preparing interim and final reports on progress of investigations for use by attorneys.

Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.

This position is with Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys and the Office of the U.S. Attorneys, Department of Justice.

The posted pay range is $90341 – $117446/yr.
