Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Hourly
Job Description:Responsible for collecting, reviewing, and entering court records related to sex and violent offender registration. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, legal document analysis, and coordination with law enforcement agencies.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and collect court documents and legal records.
- Analyze and interpret court documents and legal terminology.
- Coordinate with local and state law enforcement agencies.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in web portals and department systems.
- Handle sensitive criminal history information with discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered. - Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle confidential information and build effective working relationships.
- Strong research, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to review detailed and sensitive criminal case information accurately.
- Familiarity with criminal history records, probable cause affidavits, conviction/sentencing documents, presentence investigation reports, and court orders.
- Research experience.
- Knowledge of the Indiana Criminal Code and criminal justice system.
