Job Details
We are seeking a self-motivated Supply Chain Specialist to join our healthcare team. This is a permanent role with a work schedule from 4:30am to 1:00pm. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and streamlining our supply chain operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment where every day is a new adventure.
With your expertise in inventory management, you will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering excellent healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and monitor all logistics management activities required for the timely and efficient transportation and distribution of products.
2. Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring quantities are sufficient for needs while minimizing costs.
3. Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstock and running out-of-stock (OOS).
4. Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g., warehouse-slotting, route planning).
5. Coordinate with staff from different departments to ensure supply chain processes are running smoothly and cost-effectively.
6. Prepare and present detailed reports on the supply chain's performance.
7. Implement new technologies to enhance logistics efficiency.
8. Troubleshoot any concerns related to international freight transportation.
9. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and compliance with the company's standards of quality.
10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connected suppliers, vendors, and customers.
Qualifications:
1. Not required, but a plus - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
3. Proven experience in inventory management is a must.
4. Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
5. Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities.
6. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
8. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain software.
10. Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of the supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items.
11. Understanding of accounting or finance is a plus.
12. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
13. Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset.
14. Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and a customer-focused approach.
