Senior Construction Project Manager

About the Opportunity

We need a motivated Senior Construction Project Manager to help deliver infrastructure improvement projects while also helping develop our culture and operation. Responsibilities include delivering projects on time and on budget, driving innovative problem‑solving initiatives, estimating, planning, implementation, project costing, and tracking in collaboration with owners and leadership.

Location: Indianapolis, IN (must be within 75 miles or willing to relocate)

Essential Functions
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of project managers.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and high quality.
  • Develop project strategies, allocate resources, and set priorities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Represent Avenew at industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Drive creative solutions to complex challenges using technology and best practices.
  • Oversee project estimating, costing, tracking, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Present complex information clearly to teams, clients, and partners.
  • Help sustain a positive, inclusive, high‑performing culture.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
  • 10+ years of construction management experience.
  • Strong analytical and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with project estimating, costing, tracking, and documentation.
  • Experience with various project delivery methods.
  • Teamwork and leadership abilities.
  • Positive attitude and desire to serve others.
