CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Roadway Project Manager to join our Infrastructure – Highway & Rail Team at our Indianapolis, IN office
.
As Roadway Project Manager, you will ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and schedule. You will manage the client relationship, handle technical, financial, and logistical matters, and resolve any issues promptly. You’ll sell and develop work with clients, fostering partnerships and providing creative solutions. Your core responsibilities include contract coordination, purchase orders, daily correspondence, project financials, and approvals of subcontractor payments.
You will maintain clear communication with clients and my team, attend monthly review meetings, and develop project‑specific health and safety plans in coordination with our safety manager. You will enforce QA/QC compliance according to the Quality Management Plan.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline required
- Indiana PE preferred
- PMP certification a plus
- Minimum 9 years of experience, 6 of which in project management
- Experience in preparing proposals, project plans, authorizations and closeout documents
- Experience managing project accounting (budgeting, forecasts, cash management)
- Ability to interpret client contract requirements
- Track and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Articulate and persuasive, adapts style to different audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
- Knowledge of MS Project
- Organized, detail‑oriented, multitasks effectively
- Self‑starter in high‑pace environments, works well independently
- Can travel as needed (required)
$120,000 - $130,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
