• Oversee daily financial operations and ensure timely, accurate reporting that reflects our commitment to transparency.
• Lead monthly and annual close processes, safeguarding the integrity of all financial statements.
• Present clear, strategic financial reports to executive leadership—helping guide decisions that affect real lives.
• Partner with department leaders to build mission-aligned budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure full compliance with nonprofit regulations and financial policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus).
• At least 2 years in a Controller or senior accounting role, preferably in the nonprofit sector or with grant management experience.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting practices.
• Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, mission-first mindset.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel, with adaptability to nonprofit financial systems.
• Analytical, ethical, and solutions-oriented.
