Director of Property Operations - Signia Hilton Indianapolis

Overview

Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is seeking an accomplished Director of Property Operations to join the team during the pre‑opening phase of this exciting new addition to the Hilton portfolio. This 800‑room state‑of‑the‑art hotel will set a new standard for meetings and events in downtown Indianapolis, with over 140,000 square feet of premier versatile meeting and event space, an expansive ballroom and signature dining experiences.

• Direct and oversee the functionality and safety of the facility, including, but not limited to, physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, life safety systems, and grounds according to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct facility inspections.
• Assign, verify, and document completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system.
• Maintain required documentation for energy management, conservation, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Lead, manage, and communicate information about capital projects and property rehabilitations, including scheduling, budgeting, and contractor bidding standards.
• Direct daily department operations, including guest service standards, product quality, inventory management, cost controls, system use, budgeting and forecasting, adherence to federal, state, and local standards, and meeting participation and facilitation.
• Monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision, professional development, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
• Recruit, interview, and train team members.

• Experience leading a high‑performance team through pre‑opening and opening of a large, multi‑function hotel.
