Project Manager, Operations Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager

We're on the hunt for a creative, energetic Project Manager to join our team in Markle, IN. You'll work side by side with colleagues and clients, making sure every project runs smoothly from start to finish. The job is all about keeping communication open, both inside the team and with outside partners, so everyone stays on the same page and projects hit their goals.

• Coordinate and oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and successful delivery. Projects are large wood-framed buildings such as motels, apartments, college dorms, and assisted living buildings
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to achieve project goals
• Interpret construction drawings and identify any problems or discrepancies in the plans
• Develop effective solutions to address issues and mitigate risks, while maintaining quality standards
• Maintain a deep understanding of wood-framed buildings and construction processes
• Utilize software tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook to track progress and maintain documentation
• Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members
• Display a detail-oriented and well-organized approach to project management and customer service

• Minimum 2 years of experience in wood-framed building projects
• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and identify problems in the plans
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal communication skills for effective client and team communication
• Detail-oriented personality with strong organizational skills
• Wood Species Identification:
  Recognizing different species of wood and understanding their unique characteristics and typical uses
• Measurement and Dimensions:
  Proficiency in measuring lumber, including knowledge of linear feet, thickness, width, and length
