Summary / Objective
Superintendents are responsible for the overall success of assigned construction projects. Their involvement begins once a project is awarded and continues through final closeout. This role is accountable for developing detailed project schedules

The Superintendent works closely with the project management team to develop scopes of work for subcontractors and ensures that field execution aligns with contract documents, quality standards, and the master schedule. Responsibilities include managing QA/QC processes, coordinating inspections, overseeing punch lists, and ensuring timely project closeout with all required documentation and approvals.

Safety Goals- Participate in stretch and flex and round‑table discussions at the start of each shift
- Conduct weekly site safety audits
- Create and maintain a Site‑Specific Safety Plan in coordination with the Safety Manager/Coordinator
- Continuously audit jobsite safety before, during, and after shifts
- Manage and update the master project schedule
- Conduct weekly schedule review meetings with the project team
- Collect subcontractor schedules and integrate them into the master schedule
- Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and distribute updated schedules
- Complete daily reports with detailed progress photos
- Thoroughly understand drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes of work
- Conduct daily foreman meetings
- Manage site QA/QC programs
- Mentor assistant superintendents and foremen
- Assist the Project Manager with monthly billings and budget reviews
- Prepare and distribute weekly field reports
- Host pull‑planning meetings as needed
- Actively manage and close punch list items
- Lead and manage large‑scale construction projects
- Demonstrate strong understanding of both CSA and MEP systems for base build and fit‑out construction
- Bring experience across diverse project types including data centers, healthcare, commercial, and higher education
- Mentor and train superintendents, assistant superintendents, and foremen
- Manage project closeout processes efficiently and on schedule
- Serve as the primary point of contact with project stakeholders and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes
- Coordinate closely with architects and engineers to ensure quality installations
- Lead design‑build phases of construction projects
- Contribute to business development efforts and maintain industry relationships
- Build, guide, and manage high‑performing project teams
- Address team and HR‑related issues with professionalism and approachability
- Demonstrate humility, confidence, integrity, and strong leadership values
- Inspire teams to perform at their highest potential
- Support proposal responses, interviews, and presentations
- Oversee day‑to‑day site operations and reporting
- Promote a positive, collaborative company culture
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience
- Journeyman certification or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain clean, orderly jobsites
- Proven ability to independently lead projects from start to finish
- Comprehensive understanding of all project scopes at all times
- Experience implementing and improving quality programs and processes
- Knowledge of data center construction (busway, RPPs, liquid cooling, HAC/CAC, etc.)
- Strong client relationship management and repeat business development skills
- Excellent presentation and interview skills for RFPs and project pursuits
- Active industry involvement and professional networking
- Strong conflict‑resolution and delegation skills
- Proactive problem‑solver with strong planning and forecasting abilities
