Community Service Crew Supervisor - Steuben; Part Time

To ensure that Community Service work is performed in a timely, safe, and efficient manner by all defendants.

• Reports promptly any altercations, no-shows, or non-compliance of offenders to the Community Service Team Leader.
• Responsible for documentation and verbally reporting anything that affects the everyday operations of the program.
• Redirect anti-social attitudes/beliefs and affirm pro-social attitudes and beliefs.
• Supervises work crew supervisors to ensure uniformity.
• Supervises work crews of up to 8 offenders at one time, and maintains security of worksites.
• Collect urine / saliva samples as needed.
• Maintains vehicle and all equipment.
• Repairs or replaces equipment and reports the same to immediate supervisor.
• Coordinates with user agency regarding work task and date to be completed.
• Enforces rules of the program with all offenders under his/her supervision.
• Report any messages of significance to the appropriate people in an attempt to keep all staff up to date on current events.
• Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or Executive Director.

Education and/or Experience Required at Entry:

• Experience dealing with offenders, Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement experience, High school graduate / GED
