2nd Shift Manufacturing Technician or Technical Specialist; Maintenance

Overview

NSK is a leading global supplier of bearings, linear motion and automotive components. NSK Liberty is seeking a Second Shift
Technician or Technical Specialist with knowledge, skills, and abilities to support plant maintenance objectives.

• Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems throughout the manufacturing plant. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Learn machine troubleshooting techniques (electrical and mechanical).
• Apply electrical theory to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery, electrical control equipment, and circuitry.
• Use troubleshooting techniques to repair minor machine conditions under supervision.
• Learn central systems, their functions, and how they integrate with operations.
• Monitor and test equipment to identify and diagnose malfunctions using test equipment or software; understand the functional operation of central systems.
• Repair and rebuild mechanical and electrical components of manufacturing equipment.
• Read and understand mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic prints; identify parts and explain functions of components.
• Maintain neat, organized wiring routing and follow workmanship standards when wiring and mounting components.
• Pull prints, identify and request components.
• Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Ensure operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; follow diagrams, manuals, and specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Work safely and in compliance with all Safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• One to three years of experience with troubleshooting, setup, change-over, maintenance, or repair of CNC equipment and robotics.
