Production Technician

Summary

This role is located on‑site in Indianapolis, IN. Novartis is unable to offer relocation support for this role: please only apply if this location is accessible for you.

12‑hour rotating shift. Monday‑Wednesday, Monday‑Thursday the following week, 6:00 am – 6:00 pm. This position may involve mandatory overtime as needed.

• Execute all activities related to manufacturing of Radioligand Therapies (RLT) products, including operation and maintenance of grade A isolators, ensuring KPI goals and adherence to state, federal and company radiation safety guidelines.
• Complete required training curriculum on SOPs, Aseptic Techniques, Gowning Qualifications, HSE, and other relevant training in a timely manner.
• Support all technical aspects related to production readiness, such as manual cleaning of cell, sterilization of isolators, and routine/dynamic environmental monitoring.
• Prepare materials and maintain material identity per batch monitoring system.
• Ensure cGMP compliance activities are followed.
• Participate in qualification/validation activities and assist on deviation investigations and inspections as necessary.
• Prepare applicable documents and records (batch records, shipping documents, training materials).

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or scientific discipline (preferred); if no degree, minimum 1+ year of experience in a cGMP or aseptic environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance applicable to aseptic manufacturing (highly preferred).
• Ability to gown aseptically and work in a grade C cleanroom for extended periods.
• Near‑vision performance equivalent to 20/20; color vision acceptable; corrective lenses allowed.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 35 pounds.

• Radio‑pharma experience preferred.
