What You'll Do As a Systems Engineer/Designer

• Support sales, installation, and service of Tech Electronics' systems through system design principles
• Ensure system designs comply with codes, specifications, and customer needs
• Understand the strategy of each Strategic Business Unit
• Handle design/engineering tasks including small system installations, moves, adds, and changes
• Respond to customer requests verbally and in writing
• Communicate with customers through quotations, meetings, presentations, drawings, and technical support
• Collaborate with other designers/engineers to produce accurate drawings from sketches, existing plans, and specifications
• Coordinate with departments to ensure error-free and informative drawings
• Maintain knowledge of systems and codes as directed

What You Need

• Associate degree in electronics, electrical, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• At least one year of experience in a designer/engineer role
• Understanding of CAD and drafting techniques
• Knowledge of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• In-depth knowledge of computer, LAN, and WAN technologies
