What You'll Do As a Systems Engineer/Designer
- Support sales, installation, and service of Tech Electronics' systems through system design principles
- Ensure system designs comply with codes, specifications, and customer needs
- Understand the strategy of each Strategic Business Unit
- Handle design/engineering tasks including small system installations, moves, adds, and changes
- Respond to customer requests verbally and in writing
- Communicate with customers through quotations, meetings, presentations, drawings, and technical support
- Collaborate with other designers/engineers to produce accurate drawings from sketches, existing plans, and specifications
- Coordinate with departments to ensure error-free and informative drawings
- Maintain knowledge of systems and codes as directed
What You Need
- Associate degree in electronics, electrical, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- At least one year of experience in a designer/engineer role
- Understanding of CAD and drafting techniques
- Knowledge of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- In-depth knowledge of computer, LAN, and WAN technologies
