US Rod in Nappanee, Indiana is sourcing for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk.

This position will start on a first shift schedule to train and will eventually transition to a second shift schedule. First shift hours are from 5AM - 3:30PM, Monday through Thursday, Fridays as required from 5AM-1:30PM. The second shift hours will vary between 1PM-11PM Monday through Friday.

Overview

Q2 Artificial Lift Services (ALS) has 40+ repair and service facilities located across Canada and the U.S. Our service locations are supported by a world-class manufacturing operation (API & ISO Certified), plus a highly skilled engineering and optimization group. Q2 ALS manufactures high quality individual pump parts in the Oil and Gas Industry. We offer a complete product line of barrels, plungers, fittings, accessories and heat treated tubing needed for downhole pump installations.

Responsibilities
  • Operate lift truck and crane to load/unload trucks, checking in products comparing information, counts, weights or measures - verifying against BOL, PO and packing lists.
  • Reject and report damaged items and record shortages.
  • Move and store product in correct place in yard and warehouse.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials.
  • Tag raw material following US Rods' standards.
  • Assist in counting of physical inventory for auditing purposes.
  • Organize and label tool crib.
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping product and work area neat. Organize warehouse and yard of orderliness always.
Education and Training
  • High school diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
  • Experience working in an API Q1/ISO 9001:2015 environment a plus.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Possess basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
  • Able to follow instructions.
Physical and Safety Requirements

  • Sitting, bending, standing, walking 8-10 hours per day.
  • Able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Must comply with all safety and PPE requirements.
