The 3rd shift Material Handling Technician performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, and supporting logistics areas. This may include receiving and verifying in-coming materials and supplies, preparing bills of lading and shipping manifests, routing shipments appropriately, moving material within the warehouse, distribution and production facilities, filling customers’ orders and preparing orders appropriately.

* The Opportunity:

*** Pack, ship, receive and maintain inventory of product/raw material, and fulfill customer orders. Examines, stocks, and distributes materials in inventory
* Perform administrative tasks related to products/materials such as coordinating shipments, preparing, reviewing, filling and maintaining customer orders, preparing shipping and receiving documents, and utilizing database to enter and maintain information related to products/material
* Identify issues involving logistics, customer orders, shipping and/or receiving areas
* May operate machinery, including a forklift
* The Material Handler is also responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions
** Who you are:
*** High School diploma or equivalency.
* 1 - 2 Years of related experience.
* Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages (Word and Excel).
* Strong interpersonal skills, proactive, and the ability to work in a team environment.
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Good organizational skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail
* Be able to perform basic math calculations.
* Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Ability to work the following shifts:o Sunday: 9:15 PM - 6:00 AMo Monday: 9:15 PM - 6:00 AMo Tuesday: 9:15 PM - 6:00 AMo Wednesday: 9:15 PM - 6:00 AMo Thursday: 9:15 PM - 6:00 AM

* Preferred Experience:

*** Roche Supply Chain operations experience
* Thorough understanding of the principles and applications of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 9001
* Experience in SAPThis position is based in Indianapolis, IN. Qualified candidates must currently reside within a 50-mile radius of Indianapolis.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is 28,700.00  - 53,300.00 USD Annual.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.###
