CNC Router Operator

Overview

Eye 4 Group is seeking an experienced CNC Router Operator to join our fabrication team. If you have 1+ years of CNC routing experience and take pride in precision craftsmanship, we want to talk to you. This range is provided by Eye 4 Group. Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $28.00/hr.

• Operate CNC router to cut, shape, and engrave materials according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret design proofs, art files, blueprints, and CAD files to execute routing tasks accurately.
• Utilize sign shop software to review and modify designs, input cutting parameters, and ensure proper execution.
• Adjust machine settings including table prep, vacuum system, router bit selection, and feed speeds.
• Select and prepare raw materials, ensuring proper sizing, cleanliness, and defect-free quality.
• Load and unload materials safely and store them properly after use.
• Operate other shop equipment as needed.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC router, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate repairs.
• Track CNC tooling and materials, ensuring supplies are adequately stocked and reordered as needed.
• Assist with general shop tasks including cutting, gluing, and assembling materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols including proper PPE use and safe machine operation.

• 1+ years of professional CNC router operation experience (sign industry, woodworking, plastics fabrication, or related field).
• Experience reading and interpreting CAD files, design proofs, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with sign shop software or CNC programming software.
• Knowledge of router bits, cutting speeds, and tooling for various materials.
• Experience with materials such as aluminum, acrylic, PVC, wood, foam, and composite substrates.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision work.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently under deadlines.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Reliable, punctual, and prepared to meet production schedules.
