Warehouse Forklift Operator

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring Warehouse Forklift Operators for a Temporary to Permanent position at Indianapolis, Indiana.

Temporary to Permanent Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday, 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm) with hourly pay and overtime opportunities.

• Hourly Pay: $19.00
• Overtime Pay: $28.50
• Additional Pay: $0.50 per hour when assigned to second shift
• Schedule:
  
  2nd Shift Monday – Friday, 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm
• Overtime required before regular working hours if needed

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 1 year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator's license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Team player in a diverse work environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with good attendance record
• Minimally supervised work capability
• High initiative and accuracy under pressure
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs

• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote, induce, and stage products; load and unload trucks.
• Manage day‑to‑day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
