Oversees the efforts of a team of technical Sales Support Representatives, applying general technical or scientific knowledge and product applications. Maintains ongoing relationships with key customers and interfaces with sales staff and production on a regular basis. Works within defined policies and procedures, typically with supervisory responsibility for a small to medium-sized team.

Responsibilities

Process and fabricate precious metals in raw material stages according to specifications.

Receive work orders, instructions, and materials.

Operate equipment such as wire rod mills, bull blocks, and drawing machines for wire, among others.

Train or be trained as applicable.

Monitor machine operation and change dies as required.

Weigh and record tare, gross, and net weights.

Inspect products for defects, correct issues, rework defects, or notify supervisors.

Mechanically bond combinations of precious or base metals as needed.

Perform, evaluate, measure, and package products to meet specifications.

Manage scrap or new metal cutting processes.

Control multiple operations simultaneously.

Work independently or in teams to meet deadlines.

Process and dispose of wastes appropriately and maintain batch records.

Maintain traceability and identity of materials throughout processes.

Keep the operating area neat and organized.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
