Warehouse Material Handler

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for placing product in designated rows in warehouse neatly and evenly.
  • Supply production area with needed raw materials up to 75 lbs.
  • Assist in moving product into the print room when needed.
  • Operate stretch wrap or shrink wrap machine to secure goods.
  • Ensure labeling and packaging are correct prior to moving product into warehouse.
  • Communicate with shipping and production supervisors daily.
  • Apply proper loading procedures to assist loaders when needed.
  • Give breaks to packers/handlers when staffing plan requires.
  • Operate lift truck safely.
Preferred Experience , Skills, & Abilities
  • Knowledge of all Berry products.
  • Knowledge of proper packaging and placement in warehouse.

  • Ability to take direction and work well with others.
  • Knowledge and use of proper PPE when required.
  • Dependable, good attendance is mandatory; associates must report to work on time each day.
  • Good communication skills – able to follow directions and pass on important information.
  • Ability to work alone and in a group setting.
  • Can be content doing routine work.
