As a Paint Team Operator, you will perform variety of operations at assigned workstations. Follow instructions and established practice to powder coat finished coatings using electrostatic powder coat equipment and/or wet spray painting of a variety of metal parts moving through the paint area on a conveyor line, or wet coatings at assigned booths.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Perform basic maintenance on Powder Coat System (e.g., replace pump plunger, clean venturi, straighten hoses).
  • Load bulk powder into hopper and ensure proper paint viscosity.
  • Inspect painted parts, repair defects, and make disposition decisions using gauges and test equipment.
  • Train new departmental employees as needed.
  • Operate powder coat guns, rack/unrack parts, move trolleys, and follow daily production schedules.
  • Perform color changeovers, clean booth and guns, and maintain hoses and hoppers.
  • Tear down and clean guns for maximum powder retrieval; follow special cleaning requirements.
  • Ensure quality and quantity of work; document production data and troubleshoot issues.
  • Communicate problems/solutions, participate in team activities, and assist other operators.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all prescribed safety regulations.
What You'll Bring
  • High School Diploma or (GED) General Education Degree
  • Experience in related field/industry preferred.
