As a Shipping Clerk
, you will be responsible for ensuring finished products are shipped to customers accurately and on time while maintaining organized stock areas and shipping docks.
- Ship finished products to customers on a timely basis.
- Coordinate and control stock areas and shipping docks.
- Prepare and verify products for shipment.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Coordinate shipping activities to meet customer and production requirements.
- Ensure products are properly prepared and staged for shipment.
- Maintain an organized and safe shipping area.
- Follow all company safety and shipping procedures.
- Work collaboratively with production and other departments to ensure timely shipments.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet shipping deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to safely move and handle products and materials.
- Ability to stand and remain active for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
- Shipping, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
