Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.
  • Assess processes for their relevance, and assess the adequacy of engineering equipment.
  • Review and improve on existing systems, making use of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure the safety of the workforce.
  • Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
  • Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
  • Perform process simulations and troubleshooting.
  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the company's goals and objectives are met.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing safety and risk assessments.
  • Proficient in Process Optimization, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen principles.
  • Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate potential problems before they occur.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
