Salary Range: $25.00 To $30.00 Hourly
Purpose:The Wire EDM Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment to produce precision parts for medical devices. This role requires a strong understanding of machining principles, quality control measures, and safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of product quality and compliance with industry regulations. The Wire EDM Operator will work closely with the engineering and quality teams to achieve production goals while adhering to strict timelines.
Job Duties- Program, set up, and operate Wire EDM machines
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to communicate with supervisors and other employees of the organization.
- Basic PC operation and file manipulation
- Maintain a clean work area
- Perform daily machine maintenance
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend written job instructions
