Sheetfed Print Manager

Job Description

JOB IS LOCATED ON-SITE IN NASHVILLE, TN AREA. RELOCATION IS PROVIDED.

Premier printing and direct mail marketing company in TN is busy. Due to client demand they are hiring a Sheetfed Pressroom Manager to oversee printing operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Direct and lead 18 - 20 press operators on multiple 40" sheetfed presses.
• Schedule and oversee jobs ensuring orders are produced on time according to client specifications.
• Train, hire, and discipline pressroom employees as needed.
• Schedule maintenance and preventative maintenance on presses.
• Assist with troubleshooting press issues and repairs.
• Order pressroom consumables materials and maintain inventories.
• Work closely with vendors.
• Work with plant and production managers to stay on schedule.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum 3 - 5 years' leadership experience in 40" sheetfed printing operations.
• Minimum 7- 10 years' experience in sheetfed offset printing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Employee training, mentoring, and staff development experience.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Attention to detail and quality standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience ordering pressroom materials and working with vendors.
• Experience using Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement Practices a plus.
