Our latest offering is Jamboree, a new mobile app designed to help kids raise money for the activities they love. We’re on a mission to make fundraising simple, fast and fun for sports teams, bands, and a host of other extracurriculars.
As the Product Marketing Manager on our Jamboree product team, you will play a key role in bringing a brand-new mobile fundraising product to market. Your primary responsibility will be to drive market adoption of Jamboree by understanding and connecting with our target audience.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven “marketing athlete” – someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, multifaceted environment and excels at both strategic thinking and hands‑on execution. You’ll be responsible for shaping our product narrative, engaging our customer base, and expanding our reach through both digital and in‑person initiatives. How Will You Help Us Grow?- Masterful written communication – craft engaging and effective content across various formats, from concise social media updates and website copy to in‑depth blog posts, marketing collateral, and more.
- Seamless project management – juggle multiple marketing initiatives with ease, maintaining clarity and keeping all stakeholders informed.
- Deep market connection – immerse yourself in understanding our users and the broader market landscape.
- Energetic field engagement – represent Jamboree at industry events and develop innovative strategies to expand our reach beyond online channels.
- Develop and implement product marketing strategies – define target audiences, articulate compelling product value propositions, and create comprehensive go‑to‑market plans.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally – work closely with leadership, product, sales, and other teams to ensure alignment on product messaging and overall market approach.
- Measure and optimize – track key performance indicators, analyze marketing campaign performance, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within a startup or small, growing technology company.
- A strong track record of success in a generalist marketing role, demonstrating adaptability and a broad skillset.
- A user‑centric mindset with a genuine interest in understanding and connecting with users and the market.
- Enthusiasm for event and field marketing, with creative ideas for brand representation and outreach.
- Exceptional written communication skills, with a portfolio showcasing proficiency in both short‑form and long‑form content creation.
- Proven project management abilities, managing multiple projects simultaneously and communicating progress effectively.
- A self‑driven and adaptable “athlete” mentality, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and goal achievement.
- Experience bringing a new product to market.
- Experience managing external marketing vendors or contractors.
