Job Description

About the role:

We are seeking a Marketing Manager, to support the growth of our Tuberculosis (TB) diagnostics portfolio, and the Clinical and Industrial Media, in the United States. This role will be responsible for executing marketing strategies, supporting product launches, and collaborating closely with commercial, global marketing, and cross-functional teams to drive adoption of our TB solutions, including the launch of the next-generation BD BACTEC™ MGIT™ System and our Clinical Diagnostic Media.

Key Responsibilities Include

Product Marketing

  • Support the development and execution of annual marketing plans for the US TB diagnostics portfolio and Clinical and Industrial Media.
  • Assist in driving market adoption and commercial success of the MGIT™ 2 System, associated consumables, Clinical and Industrial Media.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of the US launch of the updated MGIT™ 2 platform.
  • Support the development of value propositions, messaging, and positioning tailored to laboratory and healthcare customers.
  • Monitor local market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.

Commercial & Customer Engagement

  • Partner with Sales Operations and commercial leadership to identify and prioritize target accounts, developing strategies that increase adoption of the TB portfolio through instrument upgrades, competitive conversions, and new customer acquisition.
  • Participate in customer visits, industry conferences, and professional meetings to gather market insights and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Provide marketing support for key accounts, regional activities, and national initiatives.

Marketing Programs & Execution

  • Support the execution of product launch campaigns, educational programs, webinars, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing and communications teams to create compelling content and campaigns.
  • Track marketing performance metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Global Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of business objectives.
  • Partner with global marketing teams to adapt globally developed sales enablement tools, presentations, customer‑facing materials, and marketing resources for the U.S. market, ensuring local relevance, consistent messaging, and effective commercial execution.
  • Partner with the Commercial Training team to develop and deliver product training that effectively communicates product features, customer benefits, and competitive positioning, ensuring field teams are equipped to support commercial objectives.

The ideal candidate possesses foundational marketing knowledge, a passion for healthcare and diagnostics, and the ability to translate customer insights into marketing initiatives that support business objectives while building their own professional expertise.

Required

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing, product management, sales, or commercial roles within life sciences, diagnostics, medical devices, or healthcare.
