Marketing & Account Coordinator

Backswing Marketing is looking for a Marketing & Account Coordinator to help run our client programs day to day and build the systems that will let our agency grow. You'll get hands-on exposure to paid media, analytics, websites, creative, CRM, automation, and business development, not just one marketing channel.

You'll work closely with agency leadership, clients, media partners, designers, developers, and vendors to keep campaigns organized, budgets on track, reporting accurate, and commitments moving forward.

• Join client meetings and capture clear notes, decisions, action items, owners, and deadlines
• Prepare meeting agendas, recaps, and supporting materials
• Follow up with clients on creative, approvals, reporting, campaign needs, and outstanding deliverables
• Grow into greater ownership of client communication, meetings, and account strategy

• Upload and traffic creative across advertising platforms and media partners
• Coordinate campaign launches, creative swaps, landing pages, URLs, targeting updates, and deadlines
• Monitor client budgets and pacing, and flag potential under- or overspending early
• Keep campaign documentation accurate so every campaign launches correctly

• Pull performance data from ad platforms, Google Analytics, CRM systems, and other sources
• Build client-facing reports that explain what happened, why, what it means, and what should happen next
• Review website and campaign performance to spot trends, opportunities, and issues
• Support tracking infrastructure, including Google Tag Manager, UTMs, pixels, conversion actions, and website events

• Build polished client presentations, media plans, proposals, and sales materials
• Create reusable presentation and marketing templates for future pitches
• Research prospective clients, industries, competitors, markets, and decision-makers
• Help prepare leadership for sales meetings, pitches, and strategic conversations
• Develop personalized prospecting strategies, outreach messaging, email campaigns, and follow-up sequences
• Keep prospect research, outreach activity, and next steps organized to support our pipeline

• Help build and maintain marketing automations, workflows, lead-nurture sequences, and integrations
• Assist with website and landing-page updates, and coordinate larger technical changes with developers and partners
• Find repetitive work that can be documented, templated, automated, or made more efficient
• You have roughly 1–3 years of marketing experience and are ready to accelerate your learning
• You naturally turn conversations into organized next steps
• You're curious enough to dig into what you don't understand instead of waiting for someone else to solve it
• You write a professional email, communicate clearly, and want to become increasingly client-facing
• You're comfortable with spreadsheets, budgets, data, and performance metrics
• You notice details: wrong links, outdated creative, numbers that don't add up, or tracking that doesn't look right
• You want to understand the full marketing picture, from paid media and analytics to CRM, automation, and business strategy
