SENIOR PASTOR SEARCH

Zion Bethel Church is a well-established church with a pastor who has faithfully served and shepherd our congregation for over 40 years. He has announced that he will be stepping down from that position by the end of 2026. The elders are searching for an individual who is spiritually mature, loves the Lord, and possesses a passion for the church and its spiritual growth.

The right candidate will work alongside our current senior pastor during a transitionary period and then will take over completely in that role. We are seeking a leader, teacher, disciple, and communicator who can assist in equipping the church in a growing relationship with Christ.

About Us

Zion Bethel Church is located in a community of about 5,000 people in northwestern Indiana about 1 ½ hours from Indianapolis and 2 hours from Chicago. We have about 200 regular attendees. Monticello is the county seat, it has two large recreational lakes (Freeman & Shafer), several mid‑sized manufacturers and is surrounded by a large farming area. Our church is located near an elementary, middle, and high school.

Our church was established over 125 years ago as a self‑governed independent Bible‑based church that holds the Word of God as the guide and authority for the church and this continues today. We have a passion that our youth and adults are committed to Christ and growing in their faith as disciples of Christ.
