Pastor Hope Community Church

Overview

A warm and welcoming rural church located in the southern Indiana hills near the Ohio River, is seeking a dedicated and spirit-filled minister to lead our congregation. We are a close-knit, mission-minded church with a strong commitment to outreach and our youth. Our ideal candidate is someone with a heart for God, a passion for the lost, and a desire to nurture believers in their walk with Christ.

Weekly attendance averages from 30-50 attendees.

Location:

New Hope Community Church, 4005 Bethlehem-New Washington Rd., New Washington, IN 47162

• Preach and teach biblically grounded, inspiring sermons; provide spiritual leadership and vision for the church
• Administer the sacraments, including the Lord’s Supper and Baptism
• Offer pastoral care, including counseling, visitation, and support for members in need
• Work collaboratively with church leaders and volunteers
• Actively engage with the community to build relationships
• Conduct weddings and funerals as requested

• College and Pastoral Ministry or related field preferred
• Ordained minister in good standing
• Compassionate, approachable and dedicated to serving others
• A person of integrity and strong moral character, committed to living out Christian values
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds
• Proficiency in basic administrative and technological tools
