Metro Baptist Center (MBC) has served the inner city of Indianapolis since 1990, providing ongoing food and clothing assistance while sharing the hope of the gospel. As a Christian ministry, we view every interaction as a divine appointment—an opportunity to meet people at their point of need with compassion, encouragement, and truth. Our ultimate desire is to glorify God and point people to the Lord Jesus Christ while meeting practical needs with dignity and care.

The Associate Director assists with the overall operations and ministry of Metro Baptist Center. This role supports daily programs, volunteers, and outreach efforts while helping advance MBC’s mission through Christ-centered leadership, counseling, and church partnership.

For additional information or questions, contact

• Accredited College and Seminary degrees or the equivalent. Master’s degree or
  greater is preferred.
• A committed Christian with a strong commitment to the Baptist doctrine as set forth in the
  “2000 Baptist Faith and Message”.
• Prior Pastoral or Urban ministry experience.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
• Ability to plan and conduct conferences, fund raising, social media, outreach events and
  other ministry activities.
• Ability to work cooperatively with, and manage, other staff members and volunteers.
• Must be an active member of a cooperating SBC church.
• Ordained or in the process of Ordination
