Position Summary:

The Associate Director assists with the overall operations and ministry of Metro Baptist Center. This role supports daily programs, volunteers, and outreach efforts while helping advance MBC’s mission through Christ-centered leadership, counseling, and church partnership.

Qualifications:
  • Accredited College and Seminary degrees or the equivalent. Master’s degree or
    greater is preferred.
  • A committed Christian with a strong commitment to the Baptist doctrine as set forth in the
    “2000 Baptist Faith and Message”.
  • Prior Pastoral or Urban ministry experience.
  • Ability to work without close supervision.
  • Ability to plan and conduct conferences, fund raising, social media, outreach events and
    other ministry activities.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with, and manage, other staff members and volunteers.
  • Must be an active member of a cooperating SBC church.
  • Ordained or in the process of Ordination
