Saint Michael Parish is searching for a full-time (40 hour/week) Coordinator of Religious Education for a medium size, vibrant, multicultural parish. Candidates must be fully initiated, practicing Catholics in good standing and an active participant in the Church.
This individual will develop and implement faith formation programs for pre-K through 12th grade which includes, but not limited to, overseeing the preparation of students to receive First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation. The position will also oversee Youth Ministry and Adult Faith Formation for the parish including, but not limited to, retreats, small faith groups and evangelization opportunities for the parish and community.
This person will work hand in hand with the Youth Minister as well as the Volunteer Coordinator of RCIA Ministry and the Volunteer Coordinator of First Reconciliation and First Communion.
The person accepting this position should also possess outstanding communication skills. He/she should be seeking a flexible schedule and be willing to work some nights and weekends. Previous ministry experience or a bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred. Compensation will be based upon qualifications and experience. A full archdiocesan benefits package is part of the compensation.
