Travel RN - Pediatric ICU - Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Pediatric CVICU RN with at least 2 years of specialized cardiac ICU experience to care for pre- and post-op pediatric cardiac patients on night shift.

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA), and NRP or NRP Advanced (AHA/AAP)
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Work in a new, specialized 8-bed Pediatric CVICU connected to a 14-bed PICU
• Care for pediatric cardiac patients both pre and post op in close collaboration with the surgical and intensivist teams
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage and on-call availability required
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate surgical cases
• Float requirement to PICU, general Peds, and NICU units
• Provide critical care nursing for pediatric cardiac patients in both pre- and post-operative phases
• Work closely with the surgical and intensivist teams in a specialized cardiac ICU setting
• Subject to a facility-specific radius rule that may affect eligibility for the travel rate
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
