American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position requiring 2+ years of CVICU experience and PALS certification.

• Work in a new, specialized 8-bed CVICU connected to a 14-bed PICU
• Care for pediatric cardiac patients both pre and post op
• Collaborate closely with surgical team and intensivist team
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage and on-call availability required
• Flexible scheduling required to accommodate surgical cases
• Float to PICU, Peds, and NICU as needed

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
• Current AHA BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications
• AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics NRP and NRP Advanced certifications
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Two professional references required

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric cardiac surgical patients in a specialized unit
• Work collaboratively with surgical and intensivist teams for pre and post-op care
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply and could affect pay rate
• Only one submission permitted system-wide across Ascension facilities
