American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of acute inpatient tele experience and ACLS/NIHSS certification.
Details- Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift from 6:45pm to 7:15am
- Every other weekend required per unit need
- 36 hours per week across 3 twelve-hour shifts
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient telemetry RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
- Critical access hospital experience a plus
- Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
- Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and functions as a mentor/preceptor
- Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts
- Provides patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family needs
