American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department night shift position requiring BLS and ACLS certification.

• Level 1 Trauma Adult Emergency Room setting
• Night shift schedule
• Every other weekend requirement
• 13-week assignment

• Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification via AHA required
• PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Trauma emergency department experience required

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols
• Implement and monitor patient care plans
• Serve as a primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Local candidates accepted subject to facility radius rule which may affect pay rate
